WOW! The Women of Woburn is partnering with four area chambers to bring you a women’s speed networking night at the Cafe Escadrille. You will meet women from Arlington, Bedford, Lexington, Winchester, Woburn and beyond!

Join area business women for a fun, no pressure speed networking event. Make sure to bring plenty of business cards and plan to meet 20-30 new people.  When you arrive you’ll be asked to fill out a short form with key facts about your business.  After some casual networking you’ll join a table of 8 or 10 other business women and when the speed networking round starts you’ll use those key points to introduce yourself and your business to the others at your table.  When the round is complete you’ll move on to another table and introduce yourself to that group.   Each round will last approximately 15 minutes and there will be 3 rounds.  There’ll be plenty of time for casual networking and socializing afterwards.

The Cafe Escadrille will provide delicious complimentary appetizers and there will be a cash bar.

The Woburn Chamber of Commerce’s Hospitality Entertainment and Restaurant Exchange or here will be hosting a networking breakfast on April 6th from 7 to 9:30 am at the Crowne Plaza. The breakfast will feature a panel discussion of transportation issues facing the citizens and businesses of Woburn. On the panel will be Travis Pollack from MAPC presenting findings of a recent mobility study compiled on behalf of NSPC. We will also have Jeff Bennett from the 128 Business Council and Andrea Leary of Northeast Transit Planning and Management Corp.

This is an opportunity to learn more about the issues facing Woburn. We welcome businesses and residents to bring questions, concerns and comments about local transportation. It is a complex issue but we will have the experts to help us find answers.

The Hospitality Entertainment and Restaurant Exchange is a group formed under the umbrella of the Woburn Chamber of Commerce to provide networking, promotional opportunities and support to here businesses. We have organized the Transportation Conversation Breakfast in part to help them find solutions to the problem. We are also offering free table space to businesses who are attending the breakfast. McCues Garden Center will be hosting the March WOW lunch on Wednesday, March 22nd. Join us for lunch and a fun spring flower project with Megan McCue. Megan will also be sharing with us some ways to make our homes and businesses more appealing from the street. If your business doesn’t face the street, don’t worry…she’s got lots of tips for making any space more appealing. Flowers and plants do more than clean the air and brighten our mood, they make everything look better! McCue’s Garden Center has great classes and events including their annual Easter Egg Hunt.
