We are thrilled to announce that Empower Woburn has been selected as the Woburn Chamber of Commerce’s October Business of the Month! Located in the heart of Woburn and with a second location in Reading, Empower has quickly become a beloved staple of our community, offering nutritious and delicious options that cater to a variety of dietary needs and preferences.

Founded by Nick Face, Empower Health Cafe is a vibrant space where health meets taste. With a menu featuring healthy shakes, refreshing teas, aromatic coffees, wholesome baked goods, and a variety of lunch items, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Nick’s dedication to promoting a healthy lifestyle is evident not only in the quality of the products offered but also in the warm and welcoming atmosphere he and his team cultivate within the cafe.

What makes Empower even more special is the personal touch Nick brings to his business. Inspired by the loving memory of his late mother, Bonny, Nick has incorporated many of her cherished recipes into the cafe’s offerings.

Beyond serving delicious food and beverages, Empower Woburn is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Whether it’s supporting local events or collaborating with nearby organizations, Nick and his team are always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. You can catch them at just about any event, showcasing their unwavering dedication to enhancing the community spirit in Woburn and beyond.

We encourage all Chamber members and residents of Woburn to stop by Empower Woburn at 400 West Cummings Park, Suite 1975 to experience not only the fantastic menu but also the heartwarming community vibe that Nick and his team have cultivated. Join us in congratulating Empower Woburn for being a pillar of health, wellness, and community support!

Cheers to good health, community spirit, and delicious food!

A HUGE thank you to all the members of the Woburn Chamber of Commerce who joined us for our Backpack Program event! Your support and enthusiasm made the day truly special.

We had a delicious lunch from Empower Woburn, and it was fantastic to come together at The Woburn Council of Social Concern, a vital nonprofit in our community that provides a food pantry and so many other essential services. Together, we packed backpacks filled with food for children and families in need to take home from school on Fridays, ensuring they have meals over the weekend.

A special shoutout to the Women of Woburn (WOW) for organizing this wonderful event, highlighting the importance of networking, education, leadership, and giving back to our community. Your hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed!

We also want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who donated to the food drive for the backpacks. Your contributions make a significant difference in the lives of these children and families.

If you’d like to help us continue this important work, please consider donating through our Amazon wishlist link. The Backpack Program is an ongoing campaign, and every little bit helps!

Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to our community. Together, we’re making Woburn a better place for all!

Winchester Hospital Mental Health CPR Training: 30 people registered and we had a waitlist! This program taught the community how to recognize, understand, and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in adults. They gained the skills and confidence needed to offer initial support to those in need and help connect them to appropriate resources.

Thank you to Cummings for providing a space for the day.

Congratulations to Winchester Hospital on being named the Woburn Chamber of Commerce Business of the Month for September!

As a nonprofit acute care community hospital, Winchester Hospital exemplifies excellence in patient care by prioritizing safety, employee engagement, and collaboration with physicians to achieve shared goals. Their commitment to expanding services and investing in programs, technology, and their dedicated staff is truly commendable. Additionally, their active participation in the community, including the recent partnership with the Woburn Chamber for Mental Health CPR training, showcases their dedication to the wellbeing of those they serve.

With 229 licensed beds and over 650,000 outpatient visits, Winchester Hospital is an invaluable asset to the 11 communities it serves. A special shoutout for delivering 2,600 babies this year! We are proud to celebrate their contributions and success alongside their remarkable team, including COO Matthew Hinkle and President Al Campbell.
