Catherine Hinds Company hosted an event for the Woburn Chamber of Commerce recently at their 299 Washington Street products facility. WCC president Electra Govoni and member Jodi Crowley presented a D.I.S.C. sales talk to the attendees. The Mac is Back! The Woburn Chamber’s annual Mac and Cheese competition was held recently after a few years off. There was over 150 in attendance and 13 vendors competing for the Big Cheese trophy. Ultimately Tavern in the Square took the prize. Thanks to East Cambridge Savings Bank, Prime Care Service, Stoneham Bank, and Minute Woman Home Care for sponsoring the event, held at Courtyard by Marriott in Woburn. Partial proceeds went to Connor’s Kindness Project.
Mary Cheyne, of Magnetic Podium, spoke at a recent Women of Woburn Chamber event. She focused on showing how your inner critic is what usually gets in the way of your ability to address a crowd in business. It was held at Workbar and food provided by Skewers, both Chamber members.
Mission of Deeds was the recipient of the donation of registration fees from the recent contractor event. A check for $1,030 was presented to David McIsaac of the MOD along with Chris Kisiel Woburn Chamber, Natalie Breen of Cummings Properties, and Steve Sullivan from Associated Builders and Contractors.

Madelyn Maguire and Emily Grace are the two recipients of the Woburn Chamber $1500 scholarships. “We are proud to give the scholarships to these two deserving young women after a number of great students applied, they rose to the top” said the committee.
