New Member Spotlight: White Builders
White Builders is a second-generation family owned and operated business. Marshall White’s father, Dennis started White Builders 35 years ago. Marshall has been working in the business since he was “old enough to be useful”. Marshall has spent his life learning the business and his favorite part of the work is finding solutions for the seemingly impossible challenges. This photo is from a project they did for Lesley University that involved shoring up two historic homes to replace their crumbling foundations and then building a large addition to combine both structures into a dormitory for students.
The Business Today
White Builders is valued for their vast experience, obvious passion for the work and their transparent methodology.
They are currently working on two historical renovation in Cambridge. The Christ Church at Zero Garden St. is being renovated and having upgrades performed to improve accessibility. The Annie Thorp Longfellow House at 115 Brattle St. is undergoing renovation and restoration for the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy. Historical restoration work is certainly a passion for Marshall but they specialize in much more. Visit their website to view a gallery of their work.
